Privacy and submissions

SafeCEU collects the name, email address, course details and narrative you provide in a submission. Provider applications also record the representative’s title, typed signature, commitment text, standard version and submission time.

Submissions are stored privately for administrator review. We use them to evaluate offerings, process certification requests, respond to concerns and contact submitters. Contact details are not automatically published. Relevant course-related allegations may be shared with a provider to request a response; we aim to omit submitter contact details, but the circumstances described may identify a participant.

Do not submit patient information, other sensitive personal information or copyrighted course materials. This first version does not accept attachments.

The website processes IP addresses for request handling and abuse controls. Its submission limit uses a temporary keyed hash of the source IP. Hosting and security logs may separately record IP addresses. Administrator notifications are sent through an external email provider; the notification contains a review link rather than your submission narrative. Replying by email sends that correspondence through the email services involved.

WordPress uses cookies for signed-in sessions. Submitted records may also be retained in protected backups. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@safeceu.org. Administrators review requests, including the handling of records needed for an active complaint or certification.
